(Many thanks to my wife!) I believed it would be great based on talking with several friends who use various Jawbone models. Even so, I am very impressed. People I talk to using this like the clarity of sound, even when I am in a very noisy environment.Because I know a number of other people who use Jawbone models, I already knew about the sensor stud near the front that has to be in contact with your cheek for proper noise cancellation operation. When it is placed properly, the noise cancellation is phenomenal. Voice clarity is (I have been told) like standing next to the person in a quiet room. My wife noticed the difference the first time I talked to her using it. During Memorial Day weekend in Washington DC, I was using the phone and the Jawbone Icon to talk to a friend in Florida, and she had little trouble hearing me clearly. I do find that people sometimes have a hard time understanding me, so I will turn it up and then it is too loud in my ear. It does get very loud! However, overall, this is a great product.
