This struck me as a workable solution, as I only needed it when I drove.When I got my headset, the first thing I noticed was the hard, uncomfortable plastic on the top and opposing side of my head. Then I turned it on. The beep was so loud that it hurt. I did everything I could to turn the volume down, no luck. Incoming calls gave me a similarly loud ringtone. On the other hand, I had to turn the volume up to full in order to hear the caller. There was no way I could find to affect the volume of the ringtone or the beep when I turned it on. The painful fit and extremely loud tones make this set useless. I went back to Best Buy and purchased a Plantronics. I am thank full to Amazon because they did. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:  Works Great for Trucking!, By This review is from: Motor Trend MTBT09 Max 4x Bluetooth Wireless Headset - Black (Electronics) I owned 1 set already,, used it with a LG EnV Phone the first of that model.Worked great in actual use on the Truck but, when not in use the tended to disconnect from phone going down the road, causing in my first set button to finally quit, wearing out by over use of turning set back on and then reconnecting the link, took about a year on truck to wear it out. This problem was only on truck never at home, then they always stayed connected to phone at the ready No prob... I also noticed that they tend to prefer some noise in the room and seemed to be better working voice wise with some noise, silence seems to confuse the noise cancel to start canceling some of your voice out... This prob was at best annoying but, 80% of time was no prob with most of my calls fine, but to my old friend and vet mike who i think has hearing issues, God Bless him and All like him! Anyway, another "Prob" LOL is that in high noise I could not hear the sound in earpeice over... Read more |
