All of the functions work as advertised and the sound quality is good. However, compared to my other headsets in the past the range of this device is very limited. As a lefty I carry my phone on my left and the actual bluetooth receiver is in the right ear piece. When I do this the sound drops often. I had to switch and carry the phone on my right side to stop the drops. Even then it sometimes drops the sound. I love listening to audio books while working around the house and yard and love the convenience of wireless headphones...I was always getting snagged before. I already own a plantronics backbeat headset (another great product!) but wanted the noise cancelation and the larger earpieces for added comfort. Paired easily with both my iPod and Asus eee slate. Plays with out recharging for a good 8+ hours. Used it on the airplane on a recent trip with great success. The noise cancelation is pretty good when I am using in the same room as someone else watching TV. Price was very affordable. There is no discernible noise canceling for listening to audio. For this reason, I had to send them back, since I really wanted the noise canceling function.
