I installed this cell booster in a boat, using Wilson's marine antenna, with 50' of Wilson low-noise coax cable sold separately. While I haven't yet used it far-afield from cell towers as in some British Columbia waters, it seems to gain at least one bar over the phone itself locally.

Before I bought this unit, I called several competitors to gather information and ask specific questions. Wilson was by far the most-knowledgable and helpful in this process. The fact that the person on the other end of the phone is in Utah rather than India is also a selling point.

My only complaint in this installation has to do with coax connectors. The low-noise cable has N male ends, and the booster has FME male ends. For the cable to connect to the booster, a 'double female N to FME' adapter was required. It would have been very helpful if this adapter, an $8 item, had been included with what I purchased.
