Its probably been sitting on a shelf for years, which makes sense, because NOBODY uses these types of antennas anymore, since hard-installed car phones are a thing of the past.Once I scraped the original adhesive pads off, and replaced them with 3M VHB pads from a specialty radio shop, install was a breeze. The antenna has been on the front windshield (upper right corner, to avoid the wipers) of my truck for 3 months now. Now, Like I said, who uses these anymore? I do. I work in RURAL Texas and New Mexico. I have a Verizon M800 3 watt bag phone installed in my truck. I also have 4 existing antennas on top of the truck, and didnt want to take the headliner down again to install a 5th one. This antenna works just fine with my phone, and it meets my needs pretty well. If I ever remove the phone, I can buy an adapter and use this antenna with any other phone that i want... Read more |
