| 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:  Found under "Cell Phones and Accessories"..., Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Browning 2.4 GHz - 2.5 GHz Enclosed Cellular Yagi Antenna (Wireless Phone Accessory) This is a WiFi antenna, not sure why it ended up there.This antenna is mounted on my metal shop building and points toward a Hawking HWRN2 router in my frame home 250' away (no external antenna on the house). Although you could get mid 40% signal using the Hawking utility and a HWUN3 with its 3dbi RP-SMA "rubber duckie" outside the shop, when inside and the door pulled down signal just couldn't make it through the metal shielding. With this 15dbi antenna, I'm getting upper 60% using the "site survey" utility of a HW2R1 now in the shop, and the two routers connected with draft N (2.4Ghz). I'm happy. As for the build of the antenna, I can compare it to a Hyperlink of similar design I bought back in the 90's prior to their acquisition by L-com (they don't sell the same model now, but take a look at the $250 Cisco AIR-ANT1949 for an idea). It works great, better than I expected at this price point. I had tons of fun with it during the short time I had it. I showed it to a friend and he loved it so much that I had to let him buy it. I then ordered a similar-gain wire grid parabolic. It seems to have narrower beam width than this yagi, meaning it's harder to aim. I'd rather have my yagi back, but for the price both of them are great buys.
