My regret is that I didn't buy it sooner! I purchased this from Radio Shack in Logan, WV while working just outside Man, WV. I was there for about 7 months and was GREATLY agravated with the cell phone service (I should say lack of service) in most of the area and undependable in most of the rest of the area. Once I broke down and spent the money it was well worth it. It is too bad I waited 4 months to do it. I went back and purchased another power supply and antenna to install in my camping trailer as I live in it when working out of town which is most of the time. Contact home to my wife and children is obviously very important and necessary to keep my sanity and my relationships with them. I have not found any area yet that I don't have service. I have recently purchased an air card for my laptop and it helps with the speed and dependability of that service too. I highly recommend this item to anyone who wants or needs cell phone service.

I tried one of these from my friend. I could not believe how great these things work. I was able to make calls where never before possible. Because being able to make a call is so important to my business, I bought 13 of them to put in my trucks so my employees can keep it touch while out on the road.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who travels in areas where there is weak or no signal.

We are fulltime RVers and after finding that we would occasionally have trouble getting full reception with our cell phone, we decided to try the Wilson Booster Amplifier 801201. We now have no problem at any of the campsites that we have been at around America and, infact, it is nice to stay in our rig and to watch so many outside trying to find reception. In fact, we were so impressed that we bought a second unit so that we didn't have to move back and forth from the car to the RV; the second unit is Wilson's Mini-Amp Dual Band 801230 and we would give it as high a rating and have nothing but praise for it, also.
