1BUYER BEWARE, HORRIBLE COMPANY, WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN!!!

By Big Rich

I'll try to sum it up without getting too long winded....ordered battery on 4.21.10, ETA 4.27.10 - 4.30.10, package arrived 5.3.10. That in an of itself is incredible since i'm in Sacramento and they're in southern California. It's not uncommon to have orders coming out of SoCal arrive to me in 2-3 days so I was blown away that it took 6 business days for my order to arrive (which is actually 8 business days because USPS works on Saturdays too). So that's problem #1. Problem #2 is that the "package" that arrived was a plain jane white envelope, that's it! The envelope had a corner ripped off that is roughly the size of the battery, which was not in the envelope. On the face of the envelope was a sticker from the postmaster that stated "item received unsealed" and "item received without contents."

I promptly contacted the company and they didn't apologize for the shoddy packaging or the inconvenience they caused me, and made me feel like I was bothering them from handling more important things. I asked them if they could expedite the shipping, they said no...which is funny because they charged me $3 shipping on the original order yet when the envelope arrived it had a postage stamp on it totalling 61 cents. Not only was the response a resounding "No!" but I was told "we're already paying for the postage on the secondary order." As if they were doing me a favor by correcting their mistake. Then it took another week and a half to get what I had paid for nearly 3 weeks previous. This time the battery did make it and it was in a padded envelope as I suggested (not sure why I had to suggest that, but ok)...who's the brainiac who decided it's a good idea to ship a loose battery in a regular white envelope?

It gets better! When I opened the envelope the battery looked used, which kind of threw me off because the listing clearly states it's for a new battery. Having no use of my phone for the past 2 weeks I decided to let that go, I was just happy to be up and running again except for one problem.....when I put the battery in my phone wouldn't even power up! So I put it on the charger and the damn thing is so dead that it doesn't even show the charging screen!! It just says "Please wait" and keeps flashing repeatedly for at least an hour. Now i'm pissed, thinking this battery is shot, but after about 3-4hrs it showed full charged so I tested it out. You're not gonna believe this but I was able to talk on the phone for about 20 minutes and sent/received about 30 texts before the battery died on me!!!!! I was so pissed at this point that I just took the battery out, tossed it in the garbage where it belongs along with the company that sold it to me, and went to AT&T and bought a new battery from them. Obviously, trying to save a buck ($30 in this case) costed me $16 more! Not to mention the loss of use of my phone for 2 weeks and the headaches that caused. I will NEVER do business with these clowns again, their customer service is non-existent and their product is even worse, if that's possible.

5Good buy

By Chaz

Works like a new battery that came originally with the phone, lasts about two days, with one hour of talk time.

1Does not hold charge, No response from customer service

By NZ

This battery does not hold a charge. With fully charged battery overnight, the phone only turns on for only a few minutes. I have two identical LG Vu phone, so I am sure it is not a phone problem.

Logged complain with customer service, got ticket number and a question asking whether I want to return it or get a replacement. Got no response after telling them I needed a replacement. Don't know how to start replacement process (i.e., whether need a replacement pre-authorization, ... etc). It's been 3 days now, still waiting for results...
