The LED is okay, I just wanted something simple and inexpensive. My biggest issue however is comfort - the earpiece itself is a bit large for my ear, and there are no interchangeable rubber ear cups that you can swap it out with or anything. Likewise, the earhook is not adjustable and a bit too small for my liking either. Who has ears that narrow but ear canals that large? lol The AAAA battery is no issue however. Few people know this, but you can "peel" open any standard 9V battery, and what's inside is 6 AAAA batteries, so supply is not only no problem but cheap too! Try it. 18 of 19 people found the following review helpful: never used such a bad product, By This review is from: Jabra Bluetooth Headset (Gray) (Wireless Phone Accessory) My goodness. Talk about a poorly designed product! It is unusable, but no time to return it. Had to warn others though.1) no volume control 2) no one can hear me on the other end 3) Awful static and buzzing, even when not on the phone. What else is there to say about it? 16 of 17 people found the following review helpful: You get what you pay for (NOTE - Uses AAAA NOT AAA batteries!), By This review is from: Jabra Bluetooth Headset (Gray) (Wireless Phone Accessory) I spent about $20 on the item at a local electronics store. This is my first Bluetooth headset, so please take that into account when reading my review. It is easy to setup, and worked great with my Palm Centro right off the bat. I bought a new pack of AAA rechargeable batteries to go along with it (note that a previous reviewer mentions that the item uses AAA batteries). Much to my surprise, the headset does NOT use AAA batteries. It uses AAAA, which I had never seen. They look the same as AAA, but they are just a bit smaller. I can't find any rechargeable versions, and the regular AAAA batteries aren't exactly available at your convenience store. This is a huge downside for me - I'm not a big fan of having to buy batteries over and over. The headset has started emitting strange beeps during my calls, which sound like there is an incoming call, but there is not. This has been occurring once every few minutes, and is very annoying. Also, the... Read more |
