On top of that, the dongle is required for home charging (can't leave one in my briefcase and one on my nightstand). This is *not* a micro-USB socket, such as on current phones and other headsets. No additional ear pads were provided as with the retail packaging. I owned it just over two weeks and the ear piece just crumbled away...I mean plastic just crumbled and broke into pieces for no apparent reason. Could very well be a returned item that was already used. I'm returning it for another and hope to have a better experience. Be cautious with this product. The upside is it retails @ AT&T for $129.99 which makes it very reasonable and a great price. If it is indeed used, then it's not even worth the $52.01. I bought the OEM version which came with only one size earbud and photocopied instructions which were dark. It not only doesn't play music through the earbud, it also does NOT support voice dialing even though my phone does. It advertised as supporting voice control but apparently it only refers to being able to control the functions of the headset by talking but not voice dialing. It will let you call a speed-dial number but it does not do voice dialing period. The sound quality and the overall appearance and feel was fine. If that's all you need this would be fine but if you want music and voice dialing, this phone is not for you. |
