The YX029-CEL is an optional outdoor antenna upgrade for the YX500-CEL which provides additional signal strength in interior spaces and is used to increase the area of improved cell coverage. The antenna is recommended for areas with weak outdoor signals strength to provide peak system performance. The YX029-CEL yagi antenna replaces the omni-directional signal antenna and provides 9 dBi of gain. All hardware is included to mount on masts up to 1 5/8 Inch diameter. The YX699 is a perfect complement in setting the direction of the YX029 antenna. zBoost will increases signal for voice transmission,increases signal and speed of aircards, EDGE and 3G technology, uses patent-pending technologies to protect the carrier network . It is not compatible with Nextel/iDEN devices. zBoost has a 1 year manufacturer warranty. zBoost provides solutions for the 70% of cell phone owners experiencing problems with their cell phone service, including dropped calls, poor signal reception or dead zones. zBoost improves indoor cell phone signal by capturing and enhancing outside signal, then bringing it indoors.
