I used it with the Wilson Electronics 301103 Dual Band (800/1900 MHz) Magnet Mount Antenna with FME Female Connector and 10-Foot RG174 Coax Cable, didn't increase my bars at all. I have zero bars. I tried it with my brother's phone, who gets two bars, didn't increase his bars at all.

it does not make a difference if you use this or not. Tried it with an external antenna and placed it on my phone. it's a gimmick!
Don't waste your money.
