My signal inside was non-existent. Outside it was rarely 1 bar (on a signal meter app on the phone, I saw -120 inside and -105 outside, lower numerically is better if you factor out the minus signs). I've fought cellular signal battles here for years due to elevation and trees. After some shopping, I found this amplifier setup, which works on the Sprint 1900 MHz frequency. Being skeptical of the small antennas that were supplied, I ordered a WILSON ELECTRONICS 301124 STAMPED YAGI ANTENNA from Amazon at the same time. Antennas are generally one of two types- either omnidirectional or directional.
