Phone XLR/Headphone cableBy Andrea
I'm a radio journalist and I recently tried out this cable for both live reports and recording in the field using my iPhone. It worked great. Being able to plug in a professional mic and headphones then call into studio for a live report or record the sound on my phone and email the sound file was easy, really convenient and this jack gave me very good results. My only complaint is that the base of the plug that goes into the phone is too wide to allow use while the phone is in it's protective case. A smaller plug base would make it a little easier to use since I wouldn't have to remove the phone from the case to seat the plug. Other than that, great product. I've recommended it to several colleagues and my station manager sent an email about it to the network.
