I opted to go with something more expensive like this adapter, assuming that I would get a better quality product. When I received it in the mail it was made out of a flimsy plastic material. Definitely not worth $7.00. I could have expected this to cost around $1-2 being it was pretty cheap plastic. Everything else was as promised, nothing was misleading except the picture almost looks like it could be metallic, which is what I was hoping for.

I specifically ordered this adapter, as the picture shows the guards are on the opposite face of adapter, as compared to all the others. (and as better suited for my phone).
However, on receiving the adapter, I see that this is not the case, and that the adapter does not match the picture.
In fact, the adapter shipped is the same "Ubest" adapter, that is sold by others here for $0.50 - $1.
If you are expecting something special for $7, you will be disappointed.

I up graded to iPhone 4 and found that the iPhone 3 had a different size SIMMS card. I wanted to keep it as a spare and use it as an iPod player. By using this adapter I can now use it as a spare and found that it works fine as a phone as well.
