True Bone-Conduction Technology Overcomes Noisy Environments
To ensure crisp call quality in even the noisiest environments, the Endeavor™ HX1 uses true bone-conduction technology. Used by special military forces around the world, true bone-conduction captures the vibrations of your jaw and converts them into speech.

When true bone-conduction is activated, an in-ear sensor detects your vocal vibrations and transmits them as speech--without the interference of background noise. The resulting call clarity is unparalleled and utterly free of interruption or distraction.

Easy, One-Click Activation
When you find your conversations overwhelmed by background noise, simply press the Stealth Mode button to activate true bone conduction--even if you're in the middle of a conversation. This turns off the headset's external microphone and activates the in-ear sensor.

Because the sensor is located in your ear, it relays only your voice, and not disruptive background noise that can make communication difficult. Amazingly, this headset can overpower and mute the noise made from winds of up to 40 miles per hour, allowing you to hear and be heard even in the most extreme environments.

CrystalTalk™ Promotes Call Clarity
In addition to the Stealth Mode, the Endeavor™ HX1 improves call quality by using CrystalTalk™, Motorola's proprietary voice-enhancement technology. Using an external microphone, CrystalTalk™ adjusts audio settings based on ambient noise levels, enhancing your voice and dampening microphone feedback.

MultiPoint Functionality and Voice Prompts
The Endeavor™ HX1 features full MultiPoint functionality, allowing you to simultaneously sync the headset with up to two Bluetooth-enabled devices. This means that if you have separate phones for your business and personal life, you can answer both of them from your headset.

Whether in a noisy club or driving with the top down, true bone conduction technology lets you communicate with exceptional clarity.
This clever Bluetooth headset also periodically gives you important voice prompts. An in-ear prompt tells you when the Stealth Mode is activated or deactivated and when the mute function is turned on or off. It also updates you on remaining battery life.

Premium Calling Features
The Endeavor™ HX1 relies on a Class 2 Bluetooth protocol, providing an effective range of up to 33 feet. The HX1 also gives you the ability to answer, end, mute, and reject calls, redial your last number, and transfer calls from your headset to handset--all at the push of a button. For further convenience, a volume control and sliding on-off switch are included on the side of the headset.

Long-Lasting Charge and Universal Bluetooth Compatibility
The Endeavor™ HX1 provides up to seven hours of uninterrupted talk time. On standby, the battery's charge can last for up to 10 days. For further convenience, a microUSB charging port is included on the back of the headset.

The Endeavor™ HX1 features universal compatibility, and can be used with any Bluetooth-enabled device.

Ergonomic Design Conforms to Your Ear
With its graphite and metallic tones, the Endeavor™ HX1 has a polished and professional look. It is designed to fit snugly over your ear, and it comes with four different cushions to accommodate ears of all shapes and sizes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleased with Motorola, March 5, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset (Shield Gray) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I have been tracking release of this bone conduction Bluetooth headset ever since Motorola purchased the rights to the device from Next Link a year and a half ago. I have tried many other products on the market and this is my personal favorite, beating out
Jawbone Prime by a hair. I find the in-ear fit of the Motorola to be deeper in the ear canal and more secure than Jawbone and therefore more to my liking. Jawbone noise reduction is probably better than Chrystal Talk, but I could not get enough of a secure fit with the Jawbone. I tried using a Jabra gel on the Jawbone and this provided the best fit of the Jawbone to my ear, but it was still somewhat makeshift; this arrangement without an ear loop meant that the Jawbone was not always in contact with my cheek, which defeats the noise reduction function. Regarding the Stealth Mode of the Motorola, which of course was the tantalizing feature that they purchased from Next Link: I am pleased with it's function, but it is not a... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Noise Cancelling Headset to date, March 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset (Shield Gray) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This is the best noise canceling headset to date.
Before this one, there were only a handful of manufacturers that effectively had noise canceling technology.
The majority used two mics, and the jawbone used a mic and a touch sensor mic.

Before this unit, the jawbone was the headset to buy. It was flawless as long as it touched your cheek.

But now, this unit is far above the rest. The dual mic normal mode works for just about every environment to a point. I had a a stereo blaring and the noise cancelling reduced it to tiny background noise. You could still hear it, but your voice was way out in the forefront of the signal. Typical office, and street environments are also pretty good.

Now when you turn on the Bone mic (They call it stealth technology), only the vibrations are picked up by the unit, deep from inside your ear. This effectively only sends your voice and thats it, no matter how loud things are. I had to put my cheek right... Read more

I have not yet tried to use the Stealth mode, but otherwise this product seems to work well. My wife said I sounded clearer on these than on my previous cheap Motorola bluetooth headset, which I thought worked fantastic. It does take some testing to see which of the four earpads work best and I decided so far I like the left ear spring pad best for me. It's also a little hard to get the ear ring over the ear once you have the headset in your ear. Yes, there is a little irritation/soreness in the ear canal at first, but I chalk that up to the fact that I have hardly ever worn in-ear headsets before and my ear is just sensitive at first. Otherwise, it is comfortable and feels sturdy and like it is not going anywhere. I'll be interested to see how the stealth function works. By the way, be careful who you buy this from. Amazon is evidently selling this through third party vendors and all are not equal. The OEM Shop is HORRIBLE! I ordered from them expecting to get the product brand new... Read more
