The connection set up was fast and very easy. The tone and volume because his hearing isn't real good any more has worked extremely well for him because of the way this inserts into the ear canel as a hearing ade would instead of sitting beside the ear itself.He's contastantly jumping in and out of the truck all day, driving, picking things up and connecting dumpsters to a power take off unit on back of the truck he's always moving around and making a lot of noise. This unit once he sets it in place first thing in the morning doesn't need to be reset in place as he goes along doing his job. He easily can be at least 33 feet or slightly more away from the phone without being disconnected.I definately would get this model again if we need anther one. Oh yes the setting time when not being used is great yet talking time is also longer than most others he tried before this one. It was well worth... I use it constantly. I have tried other types/brands but I find myself coming right back to this one. It is just the right size and feels like it is barely there. It usually last me about a year.
