Glass Mount Antenna - Car Cell Phone - 3DB gain

Product Description

Glass mount antennas are mounted on the glass of your vehicle. There is an inside coupling box and an exterior antenna whip. Both are applied with semi-permanent adhesive. No holes are drilled in the glass! If you should need to remove these antennas you will need to carefully cut the adhesive from the glass. If done correctly, this will not cause any damage to the vehicle. However, the antenna adhesive is destroyed and a re-install kit will be needed to mount the antenna on another vehicle. Antennas come complete with 15-17 feet of coaxial, low loss cable. This cable is run(hidden) through the interior trim pieces and attached to the phone via an adapter or car kit

This review is from: Glass Mount Antenna - Car Cell Phone - 3DB gain (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I ordered this and received a completely different metal whip style antenna and after initiating a replacement with Amazon through this vendor I received the new one only to find they sent the same thing again. It also was not the same brand shown above so I suspect they are filling with generic antennas meeting most of the advertised specs. I won't be ordering from them again.

It also seems that the vendor only allows exchanges through Amazon not refunds but thankfully Amazon CSR can override that.

Update:
On top of sending the wrong antenna 2 times I looked at the connectors on this unit. It uses TNC style connections which do not fit any of the Wilson based cell amp products I own. The Wilson cell amp for my car uses FME on both ends, so you'll need to buy an adapter to convert and this inexpensive antenna now just costs nearly the same as the wilson brand one.
