Piece of crapBy Barry Slater
This item does not work. Plugged in to charge my iPad2 and after an hour, the plug and USB were very warm. The charge on my iPad went up 2%. So I tried just plugging the 6' USB cable into the original Apple wall socket. No heat this time but again a 2% charge after an hour. Shoulda known better.

Great gift item for someone you don't likeBy Jeff
This is a great item to give to someone with an iPhone who's going away and needs an extra charger. That is someone you don't like because it doesn't work. The good news is that it's cheap and in fact so cheap it's not worth fooling around to return it. Surprised amazon allows junk like this to be sold through it's system.

Utter complete waste of $. DO NOT BUY THIS!By Lisa Nemec
I just got this today. I was really excited to have an extended charging cord. I plugged it into my iPad. It made the noise, but next to the battery indicator the percentage disappeared and the words, Not Charging took it's place. I immediately unplugged it. I thought I would try my iPhone. Again I got the connection noise, but this time there was NO CHANGE in the battery indicator. THIS ITEM DOES NOT WORK AT ALL! I am ashamed that amazon even allowed the sale...
