Technical Details

- Just remove the 2 screws in the bottom of the iphone
- Very gently push the battery cover towards the top of the phone and pull out the back

I was expecting "gold"; but this gold does not maintain its original luster. As soon as you put it on and use your phone for an hour, the gold phone back is riddled with smudges and finger prints...it does not look good. A much better option is the brushed silver metal back (no finger prints) and it looks cool with the silver metal siding of the phone. However, my first choice (which I tried) was the glass colored back (green, etc), but there was that flash diffuser problem (yellow cloudy pictures when using flash). Overall, I am very satisfied with the silver metal replacement back.

The phone looks amazing with this on. However, if you plan on using your phone's flash you might as well not even bother with the purchase of this item. It is simply for visual purposes but not for everyday use. If you love your Iphone's camera you will be making a huge mistake purchasing this item. I rate it 2 stars for the look of the phone. Not for funtionality. On a scale of 1-5 1 being the lowest score on flash visibility, it gets a 1. There is just no way around it.
