Great deal!By DTM
I ordered this even though this seller had no feedback. The item came super fast, well packaged and fit perfectly! The key to a successful replacement is to take your time and review several videos on youtube. You may be able to get away with not ordering new adhesive...enough seems to be left on the case that it may work without it. I think that apple charges about $120 for a new screen (replacement program)...this is an option for those of you who like to take stuff apart and fix it yourself!!

Easily installed and works great just like it's a new iPod! I do have one minor problem I didn't have the bracket form the original screen because I got the iPod with a really bad screen and didn't know the bracket was in the rubble of it. Long story short this works got to me fast and in a box inside the bubble wrapped envelope and it worked 100% and I am happy. Just sides note do a "dry install" of the screen to make sure if it will work and fit right. What I mean by a "dry install" no adhesive. After you do the dry and make sure the screen works then add your adhesive and close it off. Also for anyone who buys this and gets a white screen after you install it and turn it on just do a hard reset on your iPod touch that's what I had to do to get it to work and stop seeing white. If you don't know how here it is. Just old the power button and the home button till the screen goes off and comes back on with the apple logo.
P.S. Buy pre-cut adhesive not the ones that look like they are the shape of the iPod touch. Just trust me it will save you a hassle in the long run.

The 4g touch is one of the more difficult to repair, but I'm happy to say this replacement screen has restored mine to it's previous glory.
I actually purchased a screen on ebay that came with the required adhesive and tools before this one. I accidentally ripped the digitizer's cable as I was completing the install. I booted up the device to see the quality of the ebay LCD before I ordered another. I wasn't delighted with what I saw (some light banding in deep blacks) so I came to Amazon to find a different source.
This one was actually cheaper (maybe about the same when you factor in tools and adhesive). However it looks and functions perfectly.
If your brave enough to dig into your 4g, this supplier seems to be a great source for a replacement screen.
