 Didn't work for me., By AWBoater (USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Digital Antenna Digital DA97U Cell Adapter Cable I have an 8ft Digital cell antenna on my boat so that I can get a bit more range with an older Motorola Razr phone. This phone has a real antenna jack. Unfortunately, none of the more modern phones have such a thing that I can find. So I tried this device,and it was no good. Now before pointing out that the signal is line-of-sight and I should not expect any further signal than what the phone can provide, realize that I am in a boat, out in open water, and there are no obstructions between me and the shore. And the antenna is some twenty-five feet above the waterline as it is mounted on the boat. I do realize that there is a line-of-sight issue, but I am expecting to get a 5 mile range rather than a 2 mile range out from port: distance = 1.42 x ' antenna height At any rate, comparing the Razr with the antenna jack connected to the antenna, then a LG with this little thing connected to the...
