Good, but has silicone componentBy JuJu Bee
I bought this at the Sprint store when I bought my Evo - and they were running out at the store. The back of the case is very nice - I like the polycarbonate shell as it does not attract dust or lint. There is a silicone component that you insert your phone into first before putting it into the poly shell - which offers more protection/insulation but is also the layer that attracts lint/dust. But only part of the silicone is exposed after the case is installed so I can live with it. The case also comes with a screen protector, which requires no liquid to install, unlike Zagg Invisible Shields. So far, I like the protector - I am not sure it would pass any grueling nail scratching test, but it will definitely protect the screen and the touch sensitivity is not compromised at all by the protector. It is invisible. Also the clear protector is smooth and not tacky, again, unlike the Zagg, which can get yellow over time and sticky. Good product; would purchase again.

Better than BodygloveBy Five Oh
I first got my EVO the day it launched. I bought a Bodyglove case(Coolest looking one in the store at the time). When my Bodyglove broke I bought this Otterbox Commuter Series Case. It is way better. The screen protecter is clear and easy to apply. The case has been more durable than the Bodyglove. The silicone does attract lent but I can live with it. I can remove the phone from my front shirt pocket way easier than my friends with the Iphone Otterbox. There is not much silicone exposed thanks to the shell it is in. I would recommend this case to a friend. If it broke I would buy one just like it.

READ MY REVIEW SINCE ALL THE OTHERS DIFFER SO MUCHBy Joe
I spent almost 3 days reviewing every single case for the EVO. And the problem with that was that each case i'd review had about 60% positive reviews, and 40% negative, and the negative reviews would always shy me away from choosing a certain case.
That being said, i eventually decided to purchase the Otterbox, mostly based off it's looks, but also based off it's extremely well known name. Now if you're reading this review, you've already scrolled through about 25 or more negative reviews saying it's crap. Not true at all.
This is a GREAT case, and i would 100% recommend it to anyone for these reasons.
I've had the case just over two months:
1.) Very VERY sleek, and well designed, slides great in/out pocket, not bulky at all but still very strong
2.) Very VERY Protective with a soft rubber inside, and extremely Hard "indestructible" Outer Cover
3.) The camera and kickstand are recessed into the cover therefor they wont get scratched up when setting down your phone
4.) It doesn't cover the kickstand, and gives full use to it (you will come to find that you wont use the kickstand often though, if ever)
5.) DO NOT listen to the idiots giving it negative reviews, they're idiots, that's all i can say because this is probably the best a case for this phone you can get. I'm 23 years old, i'm pretty rough on my phones, i fling 'em outta my hand constantly, and therefor in the past i've constantly shattered phones.. But i know for a fact that no matter how hard i toss this with the cover on, it ain't breaking the phone.
