It does seem like a strong shell in case you happen to drop the phone face up. There is very little protection for the front. The shell by itself adds too much thickness and weight to the phone and it could easily be made from a lighter material for $29.99. There is a little stand that folds out, but it won't stay in place.
In order to put a microSDHC memory card in the phone you have to be able to remove the shell. There is a "coin slot", but if you put in a coin and twist the plasic slot gets a big scratch in it but it doesn't come open. So you have to pull on it as well and then the top plastic piece BREAKS apart.
Body Glove says they don't have any replacements because it's specially made for T-mobile. The Customer Service person said I should "send an email to customer service" (huh!?!). The part that clips into the holder doesn't always "click" in and you have to fiddle with it too.
A great idea that just isn't made well enough.

To pay this much the phone would definitely have to lay on its side. Be mindful of clip in & out of car. Life expectancy 6 months.

I gave this product one star because it was expensive and very poorly made. The big problem is that it was a super impossible product to open. In fact, when I was at the t mobile store, I asked to "try it out" and when the store employee who was very nice put it on for me, but when he took it off, he broke the whole front piece. He said "sorry" cuz he dropped my phone on the table in the process, and got me a new one. That should have been a sign for mealready, but I needed the belt clip thing for my dad, so I got it. Right now, I want to open the case to change the sd card, or to do whatever. And it is IMPOSSIBLE to OPEN. If you stick a coin in, u might scratch the phone itself, and also the slot gets all messed up because it is plastic. For $30, i'm sure you can get something better. Luckily I got it for $21 because u get 30% off for buying 3 things at the t mobile store in my area. But still, it looks so cheap, and there are so many gaps in the finishing, for a "official" t mobile product and "body glove" brand, it is an absolute disgrace.
There is also very little protection in the front, but then again, the screen is so big, not many cases will have much protection in the front. I got a D30 case which was better. If you plan on putting it on, and never opening it up again, then maybe it's fine. But it is very hard to open without scratching the phone or breaking the case itself. The finishing and gaps are also not very good.
