Has "SanDisk" Embroidered into StrapBy J. Ellis
The strap just arrived, and I was surprised to find a white SanDisk Logo repeated all around the black strap, Another reviewer just noted this as well, but it was after I had already ordered it. It's kind of tacky -- why should I pay for an ad around my neck -- especially when the seller did not provide either an accurate photo of the item, nor an honest, full description.

Great Quality, Great LanyardBy Bryan in PHX

I bought this lanyard, to replace a Sansa E280 lanyard that is no longer available. The price was fantastic, and The lanyard is of the highest quality, but I thought the shipping of $4.50 per unit was a bit high. I had planned on ordering 3 lanyards but was not going to pay the shipping on each. The USPS postage was marked as 44 cents.
Update: Second thoughts, as another reviewer pointed out this item is only $2.25 + $4.50 shipping for a total of $6.75. This lanyard is worth that price and more. I purchased a second one for a new camera that came with a very cheep lanyard.
The vendor explains their reason for the shipping and thus lowered the cost of the item to compensate for the high shipping cost. I think that is reasonable.

"Our shipping rates were designed to allow for shipping some heavy items. While, the rates might seem a little high for some small items, we have lowered those small items' prices to some impossible levels. We lowered those prices so that you would feel fair after adding in the shipping charge.
Amazon only allows us to specify one shipping rate for all items, so there is no way we can charge a lower rate on the small items - it is the same rate for ALL items regardless of price or size. This is simply the way Amazon has decided to do things. So, please do not ask us to lower the S/H fees."

Comfortable, convenient and inexpensiveBy T. Stephen
I was still trying to find a replacement for the lanyard that came with a (really) cheap MP3 player that I used with my Sansa E260 that ended up getting stolen. I've been through numerous types and haven't been happy with any of them until I ran across this one.
The strap is wide enough so that it doesn't cut into your neck, yet not so wide as to be uncomfortable. It is quite flexible and the edges are smooth. The fact that it is detachable makes it very convenient when I want to just lay it on the desk connected to my computer's speakers. No jumbled up mess.
I understand another reviewer's concerns about shipping costs and to be fair, a similar thought struck me when I saw the $.44 postmark. Ultimately, however, the total of the item and shipping is still less than what I paid for any of the other lanyards I have. The seller's profile has a link to shipping rates which explains their policy. Their logic makes perfect sense to me.
Psychologically, it kind of bugs us to pay more for shipping than for the product, but you have to look past that and simply see it as paying seven and a half bucks for the item. In my case, I ordered on a Wednesday night, (late) and got it on the following Monday. The alternative was to go to the Big Box store and pay twelve bucks for a product inferior to this one. And this really is of better quality than all my other ones.
